"The most valuable resource that all teachers have is each other.  Without collaboration our growth is limited to our own perspectives." ~ Robert John Meehan

This is a place for novice and veteran teachers to find resources and services that will improve student learning and educational opportunities.  An effective teacher is not defined by years of experience.  An effective teacher is one that contributes to student growth.  The goal of this department is to create, grow, and learn from effective teachers.

Novice Teacher Program

Who qualifies as a Novice Teacher in 2018-19? Any educator in their first 2 years as a teacher of record. Educators with ZERO teaching experience are YEAR I novices. Educators with ONE year teaching experience are YEAR II novices.  Teachers with appropriate out-of-state experience are not required to enter the Novice Teacher Program. It is a district decision if charter/private school experienced teachers enter the Novice Teacher Program. Note: In year 2019-20, we will add YEAR III novices to the program.
